Capture Hope is a creative project and ministry dedicated to sharing stories of people who have gone through intense darkness and come out into the light. Each story is written as a short story and illustrated with photos that creatively represent parts of the narrative. While every interview is unique, all the people sharing have one thing in common: they use their life experiences to positively affect the lives of people around them.
In April of 2012, our founder, Rebekah Edwards, had a vision of an office and a company name: Capture Hope. Within a week, she had secured the domain, even though she knew nothing about what this name would eventually become. Almost a year and a half later, after a great deal of prayer and seeking, the vision became clearer: photography, creative writing, and inspiration for people all over the world who believe hope has been lost.
On March 27, 2014, Capture Hope’s website was publicly launched. Since then, the website has been viewed almost one million times, in dozens of countries, and affecting lives of people of every kind.
Our hope is that readers find hope in the victory of the stories of those involved. If you are struggling with difficult times in your life, whether you have been victimized, are deep in a lifestyle you desire to leave, or are struggling with depression or other inner turmoil, please know that hope is here! Hope is real! And if you would like help, or support, or just need to talk to someone, contact us.
If you have been impacted by a story you read here, or have a story you think we need to hear, tell us about it. We would love to know you!
